The NCAA tournament field is set and the wildest hockey weekend of the year is days away. Boston College has been placed into the East regional as a #3 seed against Denver in the first round, with #1 Miami and #4 Providence filling out that bracket. BC's game will be Saturday at 3 PM at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence.
Get ready for all the tournament action with this week's special "Eastern Bias takeover" edition of BC Interruption Radio. On Wednesday night from 8 PM-10 PM, Joe Gravellese of BC Interruption and Shep Hayes of BU blog Bloggin' on Babcock will take over the BCI dial for two hours of live hockey talk. They'll look back on conference tournament weekend, and look ahead toward what to expect in the tournament ahead.
Shep and Joe plan on inviting several special guests with different perspectives to join them to break down the field. Confirmed so far is :
– DarkKnight5 from The Daily Gopher, SB Nation's Minnesota Golden Gophers blog, to talk about Minnesota vs. Duluth and a possible Minnesota-BU matchup.
– Carolyn Angiollo from the Denver Clarion student newspaper to preview BC vs. Denver.
