Johnny Gaudreau needs your help, folks.
With the fan voting phase of the Hobey Baker Award now open, two candidates have very clearly distanced themselves from the rest of the pack. Boston College's Johnny Gaudreau is currently in second place behind North Dakota Fighting [REDACTED] senior forward Corbin Knight.
This simply cannot stand.
These votes count towards the eventual winner of the award, people, so get on this. You can vote once per day per device, so be sure to vote on your computer, tablet, XBOX, smart phone, other people's smart phones and your TI-83 calculator.
The list of candidates will be whittled down to 10 by March 21, and Gaudreau will make the first cut. But this should become part of your daily #WeareBC duty. Wake up. Brush your teeth. Vote #GaudreaubeyBaker on every device with an internet connection.
Here are the current standings, as of late Saturday night:
1. Corban Knight, Sr, F, North Dakota -- 10,938 votes
2. Johnny Gaudreau, So, F, Boston College -- 10,0019
...

3. Frank Slubowski, So, G, Western Michigan -- 3,652
4. Mike Seidel, Sr, F, Minnesota Duluth -- 2,491
5. Ryan Walters, Jr, F, Nebraska Omaha -- 2,180
