Boston College hockey coach Jerry York has added yet another talented forward to his inexhaustible wealth of talent that is the next few recruiting classes. This time it's Cushing Academy (Mass.) forward David Cotton.
Proud to announce my commitment to Boston College. Thanks to all of my friends and family to get me where I am today #GoEagles
— David Cotton (@CottonDavid) January 12, 2014
The 1997 born forward hailing from Parker, Texas chooses Boston College over claimed offers from Boston University, Northeastern, New Hampshire and Providence. All five coaches were in on the Cushing forward last week. David's brother Jason is a Northeastern commit slated to join the Huskies for the 2014-15 season.
Cotton is expected to join the Eagles in the fall of 2016, along with forwards Graham McPhee and Colin White and defensemen Casey Fitzgerald and Connor Moore.
Welcome to the Heights, David!
