With Providence's 3-2 victory over New Hampshire this afternoon, the Friars punched the fourth and final ticket to the Garden for this weekend's Hockey East semifinals. UMass Lowell and Providence will play in the early 5 PM game while Boston College and Boston University will play at 8 PM. Both games will be televised by NESN and the NBC Sports Network.
Winners of the semifinals will advance to the title game on Saturday, March 23rd at 7 PM. The title game will also be shown on both NESN and NBC Sports Network.
Hockey East Quarterfinals
No. 1 UMass Lowell defeats No. 8 Maine in 2 games (4-2, 2-1 OT)
No. 2 Boston College defeats No. 7 Vermont in 2 games (4-2, 4-1)
No. 3 Boston University defeats No. 6 Merrimack in 2 games (3-0, 5-3)
No. 4 Providence defeats No. 5 New Hampshire in 3 games (3-2, 1-4, 3-2)

Tickets for the 2013 Hockey East Championship are still available at the TD Garden box office, by calling 1-800-745- 3000 or visiting www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices are $17 and $25 for balcony seats and $30, 37 and $39 per seat in the loge and club sections. Student tickets (located in the upper balcony) are available for $10 when showing a valid student ID, either on campus or at the TD Garden Box Office. Groups of 15 or more are also eligible for a $5 discount on the $17 balcony seats. All discounted tickets must be purchased at the TD Garden Box Office.
