Former Boston College men’s ice hockey player Tommy Cross signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets, The Athletic reported Sunday afternoon.

Cross was signed to a two-way contract, with a likelihood that he will spend the majority of the time in the AHL. However, Cross might get some time in the NHL. During his time in the Bruins’ organization, Cross spent some time with both the Providence and Boston Bruins.

Cross played four games (three during the regular season) during his time with the parent organization Boston Bruins, and played a significant amount for the AHL’s Providence Bruins. Cross notched two points during his time with the Bruins, including one during the 2016-17 NHL postseason.
