Cam Atkinson scored 1 goal in Columbus's loss to Vancouver. Atkinson's goal put Columbus ahead, but Vancouver came from behind to win 5-3. This was a shorthanded breakaway goal, so you should probably watch the video.

Kreider registered one shot, one hit, one breakaway, one takeaway, and one giveaway in New York's win over Carolina. Noah Hanifin was a healthy scratch for Carolina.

November 11

AHL

Joe Whitney picked up two assists to help Bridgeport defeat Providence 4-3. He continues to lead the AHL in points.

Michael Matheson assisted on the third of Portland's six goals in their 6-2 defeat of Hartford.

November 12

NHL

Kevin Hayes scored a goal for the Rangers, while Chris Kreider assisted on their empty net goal. NY defeated St. Louis 6-3. Hayes was left wide open and able to score off of a great pass.

Brian Boyle scored the first goal in Tampa's 3-1 win over Calgary. By staying in position, Boyle was able to get a goal in on his second try.

Brian Gionta scored the first goal in Buffalo's 3-2 win over Florida. Gionta has been having a stronger offensive season than many people expected of the veteran player.

Cory Schneider made 19 saves to help New Jersey defeat Chicago.

Peter Harrold picked up his 6th assist of the season in Chicago's 5-3 victory over Manitoba.

November 13

Steven Whitney recorded a goal and an assist in Norfolk's victory over Elmira, while Nick Petrecki added an assist to the lone Elmira goal in his first game as a Jackal.

Destry Straight picked up an assist, and his first pro goal (!) in Rapid City's 5-4 loss to Utah.

Kevin Hayes assisted on Chris Kreider's goal in New York's victory over Ottawa.

Cory Schneider shut out the Penguins, stopping all 21 shots faced to help the Devils win.

Quinn Smith was released by Idaho (ECHL), but was picked up by Fort Wayne (ECHL) the following day. He was released by Fort Wayne yesterday.

Brooks Orpik sustained a lower body injury this week.
