Boston College GIF of the Year: Quarterfinals, Matchup #3

We’re halfway home on the 2017 GIF of the Year quarterfinals, and round two has seen much closer voting action — as we’d hoped!

Caitrin Lonergan is our newest member of the Final Four, thanks to a 55-45 victory over Steve Addazio and the BC football team’s bowl eligibility celebration. But we still have two more semifinal slots to fill!

Cortez Walks It Off

Tatiana Cortez’s story has been one for the ages. She continued her magical run with a convincing 76-24 victory over Andie Anastos’ overtime game-winner against Notheastern to win the Hockey East championship. Can she win again to make it to the semifinals?

RB Pass For The Win

We’ve got us another football trick play! This time, it’s the halfback pass from Davon Jones to take down NC State and give BC Football its first bowl win in... way too long. The touchdown eliminated women’s hockey coach Katie Crowley’s championship game celebration by a 71-29 score. Winning in the ACC is one thing... can this GIF win again in our tournament?
