Two votes into the GIF of the Year tournament, and we’ve had two blowouts. Kaileen Hart’s behind-the-back goal against Yale crushed Katie Burt’s game-saving stop against Northeastern in the Hockey East championship game by a 88-12 vote to advance to the quarterfinals.
Will our third matchup give us our first close battle of the tournament? We shall see.
Let’s get right to it.
If Katie Burt’s robbery wasn’t enough to make it to the next round, perhaps Joe Woll’s robberies will do the trick. These stops against eventual league champion UMass-Lowell were probably the best of the season.

Sure it was only Wake Forest, and sure it was “only” bowl eligibility on the line, but there’s not much better than seeing some excitement out of players in maroon and gold. The football team clearly loves Coach Addazio, and that post-game was one of the coolest moments of the year.
Let’s check in on the bracket:
We’re moving right along now. You have 24 hours to vote on today’s bracket, ending at 9am on Thursday.
