Army Athletic Director Boo Corrigan Staying At West Point

Army Athletic Director Boo Corrigan confirmed to Army Football Insider's Sal Interdonato that he is staying at West Point.

Army Athletic Director Boo Corrigan confirmed to Army Football Insider's Sal Interdonato that he is staying at West Point. Rumors circulated late last night that Corrigan would be named the next Director of Athletics at Boston College.

"Kristen (his wife) and I are committed to seeing through what we started here at West Point," Corrigan said in the text. "Fired up to be here."

Corrigan has only served as Army's Athletic Director since February 2011. Xavier's Associate V.P. and Athletic Director Mike Bobinski and former Boston College football player Quentin Williams are believed to be the other two finalists for the position.

Williams is a legal expert, business advisor, and crisis management consultant in the sports, entertainment, media and law enforcement industries. Per a report in the Herald, Leo Sullivan and the search committee had pared the list down to four candidates -- Bobinski, Miami A.D. Brad Bates, VCU A.D. Ed McLaughlin and Wisconsin deputy AD Sean Frazier -- before Williams' name emerged.
