WATCH: Haley Skarupa's Overtime Goal Sends BC Women's Hockey To The NCAA Championship Game

WOOOOOOOOOO

BC Athletics

Relive the CATHARSIS as Haley Skarupa and Alex Carpenter combined for a classic one-timer goal just 58 seconds into overtime to defeat Clarkson 3-2 and advance to their first ever NCAA women's hockey championship game.

BC was down 2-0 late in the 2nd period but rallied to tie the score with less than four minutes to go in the game before Carpenter and Skarupa worked their magic.

Haley Skarupa deserves a lot of credit just for staying onside as Kenzie Kent skated over the blue line -- Skarupa was bumped right as she was set up to straddle the line and had to really stretch to keep a skate on the blue.

Then Kaliya Johnson and Kenzie Kent did some work to keep the puck in the zone before Carpenter earned possession, Skarupa snuck behind the defense, and the two combined for a classic goal for the two BC superstars.

The NCAA championship game is Sunday at 2pm at the Whittemore Center in Durham, NH.
