As of the end of the 2015 calendar year, USCHO's women's hockey KRACH ratings were being calculated incorrectly. All games against Merrimack, new to the Division I ranks for the 2015-2016 season, were being ignored.
For those of you who, like me, find KRACH to be a much more valuable ranking tool than RPI or PWR, that made things a bit problematic.
But here at BC Interruption. we manually recreated the rankings using an Excel spreadsheet (including Merrimack's games, of course) and have them posted here for all to see.
Like our Pairwise Predictor, we've also included the ability to manually change the results of games using the "D1 Query" tab if you're curious to see how new or different results will affect the ratings.
A word of caution -- the spreadsheet involves infinite iterations, so if you change a result and the numbers go all wonky on you... well, sorry. If you have any questions, comments, or bugs to report, I can be reached at grant dot salzano at gmail dot com.
For more information about KRACH Ratings and how they are calculated, check out USCHO's and Ken Butler's explanations posted online.
