With the first drop of the puck a mere 11 days away, the Boston College women's hockey team has released its schedule to the general public. The team will play one exhibition game against the University of Guelph before opening the regular season with two home games against Minnesota-Duluth.
It is worth noting that the Eagles will be playing the University of Connecticut and the first game of the Boston University home-and-home series during the Four Nations Cup. With the tournament falling on these game dates, the Eagles will be likely be playing the 2014-15 Hockey East tournament champions with a short roster.
Another point of note is the change in Hockey East tournament venue. For the past four years, the women's Hockey East tournament was held at the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Rink at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center. This year, however, the tournament will be held at Merrimack College, who will be joining the conference in women's hockey this year.
