With the final women's Hockey East regular season games wrapping up this afternoon, the field is now set for the 13th annual Women's Hockey East Championship Tournament.
Boston College (30-1-2, 20-0-1 WHEA), the regular season Hockey East champs, draw the 1 seed and will host 8th seeded Providence (6-23-4, 5-15-1 WHEA). The Eagles swept the Friars during the regular season, out-scoring PC by a combined 16-3.
The tournament's quarterfinal round is a best-of-three series played on the campus of the higher seeds from Friday, February 27 - Sunday, March 1, 2014. The four series winners will advance to the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Rink at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center on the Cape. Semifinals are on Saturday, March 7, 2015, with the final on Sunday, March 8, 2015.
