Cam Swartz Announces Transfer to Georgia Tech
I will be forever thankful to the Boston College community and fans who supported me in my three seasons in the Heights. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.

Another Boston College women’s basketball player has announced her transfer destination. Cam Swartz, who was arguably BC’s best player this past season, is set to transfer to ACC foe Georgia Tech for her final year of eligibility. Swartz’s loss is a big one for BC, as she was the difference maker in many games during her time on the Heights.

Boston College has been confirmed to be the first team out in this year's NCAA Tournament bracket. The Eagles, who have earned an automatic qualifier position in the WNIT, fell out of the last 4 teams in after losing to FSU in the ACC Tournament. This puts BC in position as the first standby team if any current tournament team is unable to accept a spot in the tournament/

The Boston College Eagles lost to FSU by a score of 63-58 today in the second round of the ACC Tournament. The Eagles spent much of the game down by double digits before a late comeback attempt pushed them to within 2, but it was too little too late for BC. The Eagles were one of the final 4 teams into the NCAA Tournament ahead of today, and FSU was one of the final four out, so the Eagles will now have to wait to see if they make the cut on selection day.
