A day after the New England weather postponed the match, the Boston College Eagles were able to send the the North Carolina State Wolfpack back home with a 64-59 overtime loss. Kelly Hughes, this week's ACC Player of the Week, and teammate Emilee Daley each scored 16 points to pace the Eagles. Len'Nique Brown-Hoskin scored 18 points for the Wolfpack.

Boston College would limit N.C. State to just 24.1% shooting from the floor in the first half, building up a 31-20 lead heading into the locker room. The Wolfpack would shoot a bit better in the second half—33.3 percent—while BC remained consistent half over half, shooting just 0.5 percent better from the floor in the second half (31.3 percent to 31.8 percent).

The Wolfpack would tag close behind for much of the second half until the final seconds of regulation. With just 24.9 seconds remaining in regulation, Brown-Hoskin made the final three-point shot of the game and carried the 'Pack into overtime.

The Eagles dominated the extra session, outscoring N.C. State 9-4. Boudreau, Daley and Hughes all got to the free throw line, which contributed to five of the final nine points. N.C. State would only get buckets from Spencer and Brown-Hoskin in the extra session as the Eagles pulled out the 64-59 victory.

With the victory, the Eagles improve to 4-8 in ACC play and 12-13 overall. Boston College will visit Syracuse on Thursday 7 p.m. in hopes of bringing home three more Orange Eagle points.
