The Boston College women's basketball team upset 15th-ranked Duke last night at Conte Forum. That's certainly one way to get in the win column in ACC play! Here are the video highlights to prove it.
Junior Nicole Boudreau had 18 first-half points on 6-for-12 from the floor, including five first-half threes. Sophomore Emilee Daley finished with 17, including five more threes. With three minutes to play, BC was actually trailing 54-59, but Daley would make three straight threes in a minute, and Kelly Hughes would seal ithe victory at the free throw line.
After the game, coach Erik Johnson and the game's star, Emilee Daley, talked about the importance of the huge win over Duke.
This was Johnson's first win against a ranked team as coach of the Eagles. It was the first time BC has defeated a ranked team since their 78-69 victory over No. 13 Maryland on January 13, 2011.
