2014 ACC/Big Ten Challenge: Women's Basketball To Host Indiana On December 3

On Wednesday, the ACC and Big Ten announced the matchups for the 2014 ACC/Big Ten Women's Basketball Challenge. Unlike the men, the Boston College women's team will participate in this year's event when they host the Indiana Hoosiers on December 3.

Game times, as well as television coverage, will be announced at a later date.

This year's matchup marks the first time that Boston College and Indiana will have faced one another in women's basketball. Boston College is just 2-4 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, having dropped its last three contests including a 74-59 loss at Wisconsin last season. Indiana has won two straight Challenge games and is 4-3 all-time in the event.

The ACC leads the Challenge with a 6-0-1 record, including a 48-32 edge in Challenge games played to date.
