Coed Sailing Places Fourth In the National Championship
After a day in which they posted multiple top-10 finishes to really chase down the leaders, a 14th place finish ends with the Eagles placing fourth behind national champion Georgetown.

In San Diego, the Boston College Eagles women's sailing team finished in fourth in the eastern semifinal with 167 points, clinching a spot in Thursday's final round. Other area teams competing in the final round include Boston University, MIT, Yale, Brown and the Coast Guard Academy.
Sailing Alums Annie Haeger and Briana Provancha to Represent USA (and BC) at Rio Olympics
Haeger and Provancha have qualified to represent the United States in the women’s 470 class during August's Olympic Games. Both Haeger and Provancha graduated from BC in 2012. As seniors at BC they won the ICSA women’s doublehanded nationals.
