After BC’s quiet exit from the first round of the ACC tournament against Pittsburgh, speculation ran rampant surrounding the future of fifth-year coach Jim Christian.
It appears now that the situation has been resolved. Per Sports Illustrated’s Pete Thamel, Christian will come back for a sixth season.

Incidentally, sources indicate that the university is gearing up to announce unspecified basketball facility upgrades. The announcement will come amidst an ongoing athletics fundraising campaign that launched in the fall, which made facility enhancements a priority.
Obviously the move will be met with some controversy and frustration from the BC fanbase, which has been largely clamoring for the dismissal of the fifth-year head coach. The decision also comes after a season of controversial retention between football head coach Steve Addazio and longtime head men’s hockey coach Jerry York.
We will report anything else we get here at BC Interruption as soon as we can.
