Boston College men’s basketball was defeated by Virginia Tech Saturday afternoon 91-75, stretching the Eagles’ losing streak to 12 games. The Eagles led 40-38 at halftime, but gave up 53 second half points to the Hokies. Saturday’s duel with Virginia Tech was the last home game of the season for the Eagles, who honored Garland Owens Jr., Mo Jeffers, and Connar Tava before the game. The Eagles’ last two games of the season are on the road—Wednesday at Notre Dame and Saturday at Clemson.
