Report: Boston College Recruiting Target Marfo to Announce Friday
Kevin Marfo, a 6-8 power forward out of Worcester, Mass. will announce his college selection Friday, Adam Zagoria of SNY has reported. Boston College is one of three colleges who has expressed interest in the power forward. Marfo said that he has interest in BC due to the "great academics" and the fact that the team is young. Boston Amateur Basketball Club director Leo Papile is quoted as saying that Marfo could be "a double-figure rebounder in a Power 5 conference. Marfo is rated as a three star recruit according to rivals.com. He is also rated as the 148th best recruit in the country.

NYCHoops.net has reported that shooting guard Hamidou Diallo of Queens, N.Y. has picked up an offer from Boston College. The offer marks the five-star recruit's eighteenth offer. Diallo also has two other ACC offers from Syracuse and Wake Forest.

Freshman guard Donald Hand Jr. underwent successful surgery on Monday to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). He suffered the injury in the first half of BC's game vs. Detroit Mercy on Nov. 11. He will miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season.
