Most folks thought Boston College would be playing Denver this weekend. Not many predicted it would be for third place at the IceBreaker, and not the title. But after both BC and DU fell in upset losses last night, the two titans now face off in a clash they’ll both view as a key early season test:
The Pioneers are certainly favored here, playing at home and bringing a much more veteran roster to the table than BC. But the Eagles have a great opportunity for a bounce back game, and to come home with a huge victory - so they’re likely thankful to have this crack at Denver rather than Ohio State.
Let’s get to the details.
