NCAA Frozen Four - Semifinal
#2-seed Boston College Eagles (28-7-5, #5 in the Pairwise rankings) vs.
#1-seed Quinnipiac Bobcats (31-3-7, #1 in the Pairwise rankings)
Quick Preview
Just like in 2014, the Eagles rebounded from a difficult exit from the Hockey East tournament to win two games at the DCU Center and advance to the Frozen Four. And just like in 2014, their reward is one of the hottest teams in the country, and arguably the favorite to win the national title in Quinnipiac.
The Bobcats have impressive numbers, sitting in the top 5 nationally in both team offense and team defense, so BC will be relying on their bevy of offensive superstars and goalie Thatcher Demko to put it all together and get the win.
Venue
The 2016 Frozen Four is at Tampa's Amalie Arena, the second time Tampa has hosted the Frozen Four in five seasons. As you may remember, BC won the national title the last time Tampa hosted the Frozen Four in 2012.
Game Time
The puck is scheduled to drop at 5 PM Eastern Time.
