If you're one of the legions of fans heading down to Tampa, chances are you're getting on a plane in the next 24-48 hours to start your Frozen Four weekend. Here's your guide to all of this weekend's events and festivities at the Frozen Four.
Wednesday, April 6
11 AM-3:45 PM: Open team practices at Amalie Arena - All four teams will take to the ice for practice sessions, free and open to the public.
Thursday, April 7
All Day: Each team will have fan HQ bars located in the waterfront area near Amalie Arena. BC fans are encouraged to gather at one of two places in in Channelside: Splitsville, which will host an official Alumni Association event, and Ferg's Live, which will be offering food and drink specials (since drink specials are actually allowed outside of the Commonwealth).
2:30 PM to 8:30 PM: Frozen Fest in the Amalie Arena West Plaza. An interactive hockey fan-fest featuring games and live entertainment.
3:30 PM: Red carpet team arrivals at Amalie Arena for Boston College and Quinnipiac.
5:00 PM: Semifinals, Game 1 - Boston College vs. Quinnipiac, live on ESPN2.
6:00 PM: Red carpet team arrivals at Amalie Arena for Denver and North Dakota.
8:30 PM: Semifinals, Game 2 - Denver vs. North Dakota, live on ESPN2.
Friday, April 8
4:00 PM: Team Autograph Sessions at the Franklin Street Mall/Tampa Theatre - commemorative posters will be given out for fans to get signed by the two teams participating in the NCAA Final.
5:00 PM: Hobey Baker Award Ceremony at the historic Tampa Theatre. BC's Thatcher Demko is one of three finalists for the award. He's also up for the Richter Award for the nation's top goalie.
Approx. 7:30 PM: College Hockey Blogapalooza 2016 at the Tampa Bay Brewing Company in Ybor City: BC Interruption and Let's Go DU host this meetup of college hockey fans/bloggers interested in meeting up at the Frozen Four. We'll be heading to Ybor City straight after the Hobey Baker ceremony.
Saturday, April 9
12:30 PM to 2:30 PM: Fan Open Skate at Amalie Arena - bring or rent skates and go for a skate on the Amalie Arena ice
4:00 PM to 8:00 PM: Frozen Fest at the Amalie Arena West Plaza
6:30 PM: Red carpet team arrivals for the National Championship game participants
8:00 PM: The 2016 NCAA Men's D1 National Championship game, broadcast live on ESPN
