College hockey polls are always completely meaningless, and perhaps none moreso than a poll conducted between NCAA reigonals and the Frozen Four. But this week's USA TODAY/USA Hockey Coaches' Poll gives us a little perspective in to who's favored going in to next week's festivities in Tampa. Unlike most recent years, all four teams come in to the Frozen Four after having very solid regular seasons, so it's hard to pick a favorite or an underdog amongst the group.

Boston College's opponent in the NCAA semifinal, the Quinnipiac Bobcats, are ranked #1, receiving 22 of 34 first place votes. The other 12 first place votes went to North Dakota, who tore through Northeastern and out-shone Michigan en route to the Frozen Four.

The Eagles chime in at #3 in the poll, while Denver University rounds out the Frozen Four field at #4. Rounding out the top ten: Michigan, St. Cloud State, Providence, Lowell, Harvard and Minnesota-Duluth.

Northeastern, Notre Dame and BU were ranked #12, #13 and #15 respectively. The 15 teams ranked were all NCAA tournament teams; RIT was also receiving votes.

KRACH agrees with the pollsters that all four teams in the Frozen Four field are elite. It ranks Quinnipiac #1, North Dakota #2, Denver #4 and BC #5.
