The NCAA and ESPN announced this afternoon that Boston College's national semifinal at the Frozen Four will be the early game. BC will take on the winner of tonight's Quinnipiac vs. UMass-Lowell game on Thursday, April 7 at 5:00 PM, on ESPN2.
This means that North Dakota's semifinal will get the primetime treatment at 8:30 PM on ESPN2, which isn't too surprising - given how the Denver-Ferris State game is going (DU is up 1-0 early and dominating), it's looking like an all-western, marquee matchup in that semifinal - definitely a better TV bet than two teams from the same general area.
This means BC's game can't be delayed for the third consecutive week due to the early game going to OT, so there's an added bonus for you.
Make your plans now to get in front of a TV for next Thursday at 5 PM! The winners will play for the title on Saturday, April 9 at 7 on ESPN.
