The 2016 NCAA men's hockey field is set, and as expected, Boston College hockey was assigned a #2 seed in the Northeast Regional, where they will take on crosstown rival and ECAC runner-up Harvard. The game will take place on Friday evening, March 25 in Worcester, with puck drop at 8:00pm on ESPNU.

Completing BC's regional are #1 seed Providence College, the defending national champions, who will face off against Minnesota-Duluth at 4:30pm, on ESPN3. The winners of the two games will play on Saturday, March 26th.

The Eagles have faced Harvard once this year already, topping them 3-2 in the Beanpot semifinal back on February 1. It was one of BC's best defensive performances of the season, locking down Harvard's extremely talented offense -- a sharp contrast from the Eagles' huge defensive struggles at TD Garden against Northeastern on Friday night.

The Crimson, who posted a 19-10-4 record on the season, feature one of the best players in the country in senior forward Jimmy Vesey. Vesey led the ECAC in goals and points during conference play, and is 5th overall nationally in points per game, with 46 points in 32 games for the Crimson.

Here's the rest of the NCAA Tournament bracket:
