Eastern Bias Podcast, Episode 59: Talking Hockey East Tournament with Chris Boulay of College Hockey News

Previewing the final weekend of the Hockey East season

bceagles.com

We're coming to the end of the road, with one weekend left of Hockey East tournament play. It'll be Boston College vs. Northeastern and UMass-Lowell vs. Providence on Friday night, with the winners playing for the league championship on Saturday. With 6 Hockey East teams having a very good chance of making the NCAA tournament field, there's a lot to talk about, even beyond this weekend.

To break it all down, BCI's Joe Gravellese and Bloggin' on Babcock's Shep Hayes are joined for the entire show by special guest Chris Boulay of College Hockey News. There's also a drop-in from Mike Davis of the Northeastern DogHouse to talk about the Huskies' magical 2016 run and their chances of winning some hardware this weekend.

The guys also spend some time talking about this weekend's upcoming Women's Frozen Four, and BC's 5-1 win over Northeastern last weekend that got them there. There's also some geography talk, a detour in to curling talk toward the end. Don't ask.

As always, thanks for listening. Please consider subscribing on iTunes, or following the show on Twitter at @easternbias. Past episodes can be streamed at our website, easternbias.podbean.com.
