Previews

BC cruised past Vermont 3-0 last night at Conte Forum, but there was a bit of unwanted deja vu as the Eagles chased Mike Santaguida early in the game, only to have UVM's backup Packy Munson come in and look solid for the rest of the game. Munson will start tonight's second game and will look to repeat Brody Hoffman's performance last year, when he came off the bench and beat BC in two straight.

Vermont will have their backs against the wall tonight as they look to keep their season alive. The Eagles, meanwhile, will hope to avoid drama and finish off the sweep. BC clings by fractions of a point to the #4 spot in the pairwise rankings over Providence as those two teams continue down their path to a potential clash at TD Garden.

Elsewhere in Hockey East, Northeastern will look to finish off Notre Dame and bolster their unbelievable run to NCAA tournament contention; Lowell will look to finish off the sweep of BU; and Providence will be expected to once again dispatch Merrimack.
