Boston College Hockey returns to the ice after a two week hiatus with a quarterfinal series against #9-seed Vermont, who advanced with a two-game sweep of UConn last week in the #octofinals. The Eagles expect to be bolstered by the return of Colin White to the lineup. White, the dynamic freshman and first round pick of Ottawa, missed the Lowell series with an injury. BC's loss to UMass-Lowell in the regular season finale was their first loss since December; with the loss, 3 of 5 BC losses this season have now come with White out of the lineup.

Chris Calnan is questionable for this weekend; he has also been battling injury.

Vermont was given a shot in the arm two weeks ago by the return of starting goalie Mike Santaguida, who missed most of this season with an injury. He back stopped UVM to a pair of victories in Hartford last weekend; now UVM will look to repeat their quarterfinal performance last season, when they upset BC in three games at Conte Forum.

The Eagles are looking for their first TD Garden appearance for the Hockey East tournament since 2013 (!!!).
