BC Hockey Blog Reports Colin White, Miles Wood and Chris Calnan Are Expected To Play Tonight

Eagles at pretty much full strength up front

According to The Boston College Hockey Blog, BC's three injured forwards, Chris Calnan, Miles Wood, and scoring leader Colin White, all skated at practice yesterday and are expected to be good to go for tonight's Beanpot final (7:30 PM, NESN).

Wood and Calnan were held out of Friday night's game against UNH. Wood was fighting a "lower body injury," while Calnan continues to suffer from the after-effects of a shoulder injury suffered in November, having been in and out of the lineup since.

Colin White, BC's scoring leader so far this season, started on Friday night but did not play in the third period, suffering from what Jerry York called "kind of a sprained wrist."

Obviously it's a huge boost to BC's lineup to expect those three to return tonight. BC was essentially rolling two lines (sprinkling in a third from time to time) down the stretch on Friday, whereas at full strength like they were last Monday, BC rolls a strong four line attack.

On the BU side, Charlie McAvoy is considered "questionable" with a lower body injury. He was held out of BU's game on Friday night against UMass. McAvoy scored a goal for BU in last week's first round Beanpot win over Northeastern.
