After a day of speculation, the organizers of the Beanpot confirmed via Twitter that tonight's Beanpot games are on as planned at TD Garden:

There was concern that the Beanpot final could be postponed due to snow for the second straight year, but it looks like organizers feel confident that the T will remain up and running and the games will be able to go off safely. While Boston is looking at 6-9 inches of snow today, the storm should clear out at around 6 PM.
Northeastern will take on Harvard in the consolation game at 4:30 PM, then the main event will take center stage at 7:30 when BC and BU face off in the final. The Eagles are looking for their 6th Beanpot title in 7 years, while BU is looking to defend their title and win their 31st championship overall.
If you're heading to the game tonight and driving, please drive carefully, and remember that the DCR and the City of Boston have snow emergency/parking bans in effect.
