Tonight, Boston College hockey travels to South Bend to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, in a clash of two top-ten teams. BC hopes to snap their recent bad luck against Notre Dame. The Irish have been very successful against BC during Jeff Jackson's tenure, including the most recent matchup in which Notre Dame staged a three-goal third period rally to come back and knock off BC at Conte Forum.
A notable occurrence in that game was that rather than beating BC with the trap—as the Irish have done so successfully so many times in the past—ND turned the tables on BC in the third period with an aggressive forecheck, wearing down a team that was already gassed from being short three forwards due to injury and illness. What will tonight's game look like, and will BC get a win? We ask some humans (and a cat).

CAT PREDICTIONS:
For those who do not know, Coffee is Laura's cat who was adopted from the Gifford Cat Shelter a year and a half ago after living at the shelter for nearly five years. She spent her first six months on the streets of Dorchester. Her favorite things are yarn, treats, and laser pointers. Her least favorite things are basketball and strangers. (Seriously, she refuses to be in the room when basketball is on tv. It's weird.)

I am wary of letting Coffee predict games because of the time she picked UMass to win. This time, however, she was pretty confident in picking BC to win. She thought about he choice for a few seconds, but then showed no hesitation when making her decision. Coffee is predicting a 1-0 BC win.
