11 days 'until hockey...

#11 Chris Calnan - Forward

Class Year: Junior
Height: 6'2''
Weight: 209
Hometown: Norwell, MA

Before BC:

Sanford was the leading scorer for the South Shore Kings in '12-'13 with 27-22--49 line. Prior to that, he played two seasons with Noble and Greenough.

Fun facts:

- Sanford is a 3rd round NHL draft pick of the Chicago Blackhawks
- The last player to wear the #11 jersey at BC was Pat Mullane, captain of the Eagles in '12-'13.

2014-2015 in review:

Calnan started out strong in his sophomore year, going 11-5--16 in his first 23 games, but, incredibly, put up 0 points in the final 14 contests. Despite the drought, he still ended up as with the 3rd most goals on the team.

2015-2016 outlook:

If Calnan can find any kind of consistency, he's going to have much better numbers in his junior season. Depending on how Jerry York wants to tinker with things, he'll likely play on the 2nd or 3rd line wing, and with the depth of the forwards, the talent level around him should increase... and with it, his scoring numbers.
