#12 Alex Tuch - Forward
Class Year: Sophomore
Height: 6'4''
Weight: 220
Hometown: Baldwinsville, NY
Before BC:
Tuch has been all over the USNTDP -- He was the second leading scorer on the U18 team in '13-'14 and was on the U17 team the year before that.
Fun facts:
- Tuch is a 1st round draft pick of the Minnesota Wild
- The last player to don the #12 for the Eagles was another elite scorer, Kevin Hayes '14.
2014-2015 in review:
Welcome to the Heights, Alex Tuch! Tuch was the team's leading scorer at 14-14--28 as a freshman and there was some worry that he might jump ship to the NHL this year. However, as good as he is, he's a big boy and still has some development ahead of him, so he's sticking it out in the college ranks.
2015-2016 outlook:
As the team's leading scorer from a year ago and now a sophomore, Tuch will be a top liner for the Eagles this season. Even if Jerry York tries to even out the lines a bit (and there's plenty of talent with which to do it) it's likely that whatever line Tuch happens to be on will be the one we call the "first line."
