Hockey is getting closer: only 20 days until the Eagles take the ice again!
#20, Peter McMullen, Forward
Class Year: Senior
Height: 6'01''
Weight: 205
Hometown: Essex Fells, N.J.
Before BC:
Played at Delbarton Prep, and for the Vernon Vipers and the Langley Rivermen in the BCHL.
Fun facts:
- McMullen's father, a BC graduate and former BC lacrosse player, is the Executive Vice President of the New Jersey Devils.
- McMullen's grandfather owned the Devils and was responsible for bringing them to New Jersey. He also owned the Houston Astros.
- The McMullen Museum of Art at Boston College is named in honor of his family.
2014-2015 in review:
McMullen played in a career high 10 games in the 2014-2015 season, 7 of which were Hockey East match-ups. He recorded a blocked shot against Brown in the Ledyard Classic.
2015-2016 outlook:
With the skilled freshman forwards joining the team this year, McMullen is unlikely to see much playing time. He will be called upon to fill in if (as is likely) any BC players miss games over winter break to play at World Juniors. He may also see playing time if other players miss games due to injury/illness.
