#24 Zach Sanford - Forward

Class Year: Sophomore
Height: 6'4''
Weight: 191
Hometown: Auburn, NH

Before BC:

Sanford played for Waterloo of the USHL in '13-'14, Islanders Hockey Club of the EJHL in '12-'13, and Pinkerton Academy in '11-'12.

Fun facts:

- Sanford is a 2nd round NHL draft pick of the Washington Capitals
- Sanford took over jersey number 24 after the graduation of Bill Arnold '14.

2014-2015 in review:

Sanford was a bright spot on a relatively sluggish BC offense in '14-'15, showing great all-around ability. At 7-17--24, He was 5th on the team in goals and 4th in assists—as a freshman. Toward the end of the season, Sanford became one of the best producing forwards on the team, just one point shy of the team lead with 15 points in the 2015 portion of the schedule.

2015-2016 outlook:

Sanford projects to be a critical part of the BC offense for the coming season and, as a high-producing freshman, could be a player primed to make a big sophomore season jump. He will certainly be on one of the top two lines and could be your first line center this season.
