We Are BC, and apparently the oddsmakers think gamblers know it.
Someone on Twitter went to Caesars and posted the odds for the 2015 Frozen Four, and while #1 isn't a surprise (Minnesota should really go wire to wire as #1 this year or they're doing something wrong), #2 might give us pause.

Oh hello.
Holy name recognition, Batman. Apparently when people here "Boston College Hockey" they think "better throw money on them because they're BC." Keep in mind, though, this is gambling odds set to maximize the take for the house, it doesn't mean BC is the 2nd best team in the country (a subtle difference).
The fact that the Frozen Four is in Boston probably factors in a bit here as well (BU has moved from 60/1 to 40/1, for example... wayyyyyy down the list), but I don't think anyone told Caesars about the best line in America going pro.
The thing is though, despite all the panic over Sonny Milano's departure, BC should be a pretty good team this year. Maybe not the-best-non-Gopher-team good, but pretty good. As Joe pointed out last month, BC can reasonably be expected to be a top 5 defense and a top 10 offense this year. That would certainly be good for at least a 1 or a 2 seed (so, top 8 overall) depending on how many stinkers they put up.
Where do you think BC will end up this season? Vote in the poll and let us know what you think in the comments.
