One of the best Boston College hockey traditions is upon us: the annual Toy Drive for patients at Children's Hospital. During each of the next two games—Friday, November 28 vs. Minnesota, and Saturday, December 6 vs. UNH—fans are asked to bring new, boxed, unwrapped toys, books, and games to donate. Make sure that gifts are appropriate for kids of all ages in a hospital setting.
In lieu of toys you may also donate cash or make checks payable to Boston Children's Hospital. Gift cards to purchase items for older children are also welcome and encouraged as well.
Each year following the Toy Drive, Boston College hockey players bring the gifts generously donated by fans to patients at Children's Hospital near Christmas, bringing some joy to the kids and their families. The experience is equally rewarding for our players as it is the kids who get to meet and talk to them. This annual tradition has become a beloved part of the BC hockey calendar, and thanks to the generosity of Eagles everywhere, there's always plenty of gifts and cheer to go around.
Please support this great cause and bring your contributions to Friday's game against Minnesota! Donations will be collected at each entrance to Conte Forum.
