Good news. On Tuesday, Hockey East announced that NBC Sports Network will broadcast the Boston College-Notre Dame game from Fenway Park. Frozen Fenway 8.0 will be televised!
The Hockey East Association announced on Tuesday that NBCSN will broadcast the Boston College vs. Notre Dame game from Fenway Park on Saturday, January 4th beginning at 7:30pm.
NBCSN will air the game nationally, while NESN will broadcast the game around New England.
"We are pleased that a national audience will have the opportunity to see this historic matchup on NBC Sports Network, the first of many Notre Dame-Boston College games played under our conference banner," said Hockey East commissioner Joe Bertagna. "That it takes place outdoors at Fenway Park only adds to the day's significance."
The game, which is part of the Frozen Fenway doubleheader, will mark the sixth regular-season contest that NBCSN will broadcast this season. Hockey East and NBCSN recently signed a two-year contract extension in October.
You can find NBC Sports Network on channel 220 (DirecTV), 159 (DISH), 590 (Verizon FiOS) and 1640 (AT&T U-Verse), or check your local listings.
