Boston College Hockey Schedule: Eagles To Open Season In Ann Arbor Vs. Michigan

A few more non-conference scheduling dates have trickled in.

The Boston College hockey team will travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan to take on the Michigan Wolverines on Thursday, October 10 to open the 2013-14 season. The game marks the Eagles first appearance at Yost since 2005. BC and Michigan have met 17 times previously with the Wolverines owning a 11-6 record in the all-time series.

The two teams last faced one another during the 2011-12 season in the first round of the 2011 Great Lakes Invitational. Michigan won 4-2, though Boston College would later go on to rattle off 19 straight wins to capture the program's fifth national title.

In other non-conference scheduling news, the Eagles will travel to Minneapolis to take on Minnesota in a two-game series at Mariucci on Friday, October 25 and Sunday, October 27. The other Big Ten program BC will face in 2013-14, Wisconsin, recently released its 2013-14 schedule, confirming a game at BC on Friday, October 18. The Badgers then hit the B-line and will face BU at Agganis the following night.

The Eagles other home date that weekend is a Sunday night 7:05 p.m. game against Army. The two schools haven't faced one another since the 1994-95 season in Coach York's coaching debut with the program. Boston College won 9-3. The Eagles and Black Knights have faced each other 40 times with BC owning an overwhelming 36-3-1 record in the all-time series.
