College hockey polls ... if that's what you're into.
With a second straight four point weekend, the Boston College men's hockey team retained the top spot in this week's USCHO.com Division I Men's Poll. The Eagles earned 11 more first-place votes this week and 38 in all. Minnesota, Denver, Miami and North Dakota round out the top five.
From Hockey East, New Hampshire (4-0-1) is up three spots to number 9 this week -- the second highest ranked Hockey East team in the polls. The Wildcats even managed a pair of first-place votes this week. Boston University (3-1-0) is up one spot this week to 12 while UMass Lowell (1-3-1) drops three spots to 14. Northeastern (2-2-1) holds steady at 15 this week.
Providence was the only other Hockey East team to receive votes this week, finishing one spot out of the rankings at #21.

For stopping 63-of-66 shots faced over the weekend, Boston College goaltender Parker Milner has earned a share of Hockey East's Player of the Week honors along with Merrimack's Mike Collins. Milner stopped all 38 shots -- a season-high -- in Boston College's 1-0 win over Lowell at Tsongas. Bonus: for sweeping 11th ranked Lowell over the weekend, Boston College is (once again) your Hockey East Team of the Week.
