We knew it was only a matter of time until AJ “The Sauce” Dillon would be taken in the NFL Draft, and we finally know the star running back’s destination. AJ Dillon was drafted 62nd overall in the draft, taken in the second round by the Green Bay Packers.
Dillon was one of the most talented and electrifying players to ever play football at Boston College. He’s leaves the Heights as BC’s all-time leading rusher, smashing the previous records for both yards (4,382) and touchdowns (38) despite leaving a year on the table.
There was no doubt, though, that AJ Dillon had done all he needed to in the college game and is ready to make the jump to playing on Sundays. There had been plenty of scouts out there saying that Dillon might project to be a fullback at the NFL level, but his phenomenal draft combine had him shooting up draft boards as a bruising RB. Bleacher Report said he could be a better version of Derrick Henry and Sports Illustrated put him as one of their ten potential sleepers of the draft.
Oh, and PS — AJ Dillon once did this:

We’re all very much looking forward to seeing The Sauce ball out in the pros. Congratulations, AJ, and good luck on Sundays!
