A number of Eagles have put their name in the transfer portal. Defensive End Bryce Morais is a graduate student who missed that past season due to injury. The Georgia native had a solid junior season with 16 tackles in 13 games. QB Sam Johnson was a big recruit for Steve Addazio’s Eagles. The three-star from Michigan came to BC in 2019 and chose BC over Michigan as well. Johnson was just unable to rise up the depth chart, and with Jurkovec the starter for the next two season, prospects didn’t look great.
DT Kyiev Bennermon transferred to North Carolina A&T. Bennermon leaves BC after two seasons. He played in nine games last year, including one start, but saw a significantly reduced role under new staff. The New York native will look to finish his education and take on a bigger role. Offensive lineman Nate Emer is a graduate student that spent the season as the backup left guard and center. He lost out on a camp battle for the starting role, and unfortunately didn’t see enough action.
WR Justin Bellido was one of Jeff Hafley’s first commits, flipping from Minnesota last year. The former three-star prospect was inactive for the whole season. Sophomore long-snapper Aidan Livingston and redshirt freshman defensive lineman Michael Ciaffoni will also be moving on.
