SOURCES: BC Athletics Planning “Pep Rally” Monday at 10am at Yawkey Center

Sources close to BC Interruption have reported that Boston College Athletics is in the process of planning a Pep Rally at the Yawkey Athletics Center for 10:00am on Monday. The “Pep Rally” would take place in the Murray Room, which BC describes as “the Athletic Department’s largest multi-function room.” The event is not final, but it is being planned.

There aren’t many details on the “pep rally” or any announcement other that the fact that it appears the BC Marching Band will be present.

Based on all logic and reason, it seems likely that this will be for an announcement regarding the new BC Football head coach, though that has not yet been confirmed. There isn’t all that much out there that BC could be planning as a surprise in the middle of finals, right before the winter break, with the entire Boston College Marching Band present — unless of course BC is looking to celebrate the basketball team’s big win over Central Connecticut State University the day before*.

*This was a joke, the pep rally will not be about this.
