Harold Landry made huge news when he elected to pass on the 2017 NFL Draft and return to Boston College for his senior season. The national media has taken notice, as Landry has been named to the Associated Press All-America First Team.
Landry is one of just six ACC players with the honor of being named to the AP first team. The others are:
Bradley Chubb (DE, NC State)
Ed Oliver (DT, Clemson)
Tarvarus McFadden (CB, Florida State)
Jaire Alexander (CB, Louisville)
Quadree Henderson (All-Purpose, Pitt)
Landry is on just about every awards watch list for defensive players, and was honored with all-ACC preseason team selection as well. The question is now if Landry can deliver on these great expectations, as he looks to become the first Eagle to earn postseason All-American honors since Andre Williams in 2013.
Congratulations to Harold on this honor! #soar
