In his 9th NFL season, Boston College’s own Matt Ryan is the NFL’s Most Valuable Player!

He is the first NFL MVP to have played for Boston College.
Matt Ryan put up video game numbers this year, cranking out a 69.9% completion rate and leading the league with 9.3 yards per attempt and a whopping 117.1 passer rating. Most importantly, he’s finally broken through in the playoffs, leading the Atlanta Falcons to their second Super Bowl appearance in franchise history with a chance to claim just the city’s second professional sports title in Sunday’s Super Bowl LI.

Ryan graduated from Boston College with a degree in Communications from the Morrissey College of Arts & Sciences in 2007 and was drafted #3 overall by the Falcons in the 2008 NFL Draft. He is, by every possible definition, a true BC Guy.
