In its annual rivalry match-up against the Syracuse Orange, the Boston College Eagles put together a masterful performance, beating down its hated rival, the Syracuse Orange, 42-14 in a wire-to-wire performance at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, N.Y.

AJ Dillon finished the day with 193 yards on the ground, falling just 11 yards short of the ACC rushing title despite spending much of the season splitting carries with Jon Hilliman.

Dillon also contributed three touchdowns on the ground to the Eagles’ cause.

Throwing the ball, quarterback Darius Wade had a masterful performance of his own, completing 80% of his passes and finishing the day with a 200.7 quarterback rating.

Will Harris had a fumble return for a touchdown. He also had another fumble recover in the game.

The Eagles finish the regular season at 7-5, and await a bowl invitation in the upcoming weeks.

Meanwhile, the Syracuse Orange fall to 4-8 on the year, having lost its last five games following its upset victory over the Clemson Tigers.
