Look, I really don’t know what happened yesterday. I got to the game late because I overslept my alarm clock, and I ended up leaving at halftime because staying just didn’t seem appealing. After getting a BLT at Flatbreads I went back to my apartment and turned on the game, but by then it was like 42-7 or something so I turned it off and watched the end of the Villanova football game and Futurama.
The thing that bothers me is this: we all knew that this was going to probably happen. Louisville is one of the most potent offenses in the country, and it was going to be a struggle. It’s the reason we all picked Louisville to win this game. But it was the way BC lost that bothers me. The fact that BC was unable to stop Lamar Jackson, the fact that the offense made mistake after mistake after mistake. And of course, this:
Props to @MichaelJSully for being only reporter to ask Addazio tough question after 45 pt loss. Predictably got irritated pic.twitter.com/glE0618NP3

I wish BC were better. I wish this feature were more fun to write. But alas neither of those things are going to come to pass any time soon. And thus…
Less than 25 minutes til kick & BC on field warming up. Eagles will have their hands full w Louisville & Heisman candidate Lamar Jackson pic.twitter.com/PuXtuxWPcl

Lamar Jackson makes one move, and he's gone. 69 yards on the score. He is, uh very fast.
— BC Interruption (@bcinterruption) November 5, 2016
So thats why fans didnt show up today I guess
— ERIC HOFFSES (@EJHoffses) November 5, 2016
I'm still at my apartment and I just heard Louisville score on the radio. Anyone know if the @NovaMBB game is on anywhere?
— Arthur Bailin (@arthurbailin) November 5, 2016
Lamar Jackson takes it for 69 yards. #nice

Just like that, Louisville leads BC 14-0 less than 6 minutes in.
— BC Interruption (@bcinterruption) November 5, 2016
Feel bad for the players
— ERIC HOFFSES (@EJHoffses) November 5, 2016
@bcinterruption So that extrapolates out to 140-0.
— Marie Grip (@dixieagle) November 5, 2016
I missed 15 minutes and BC is down 14-0. This is fantastic
— A.J. Black (@BCHysteria) November 5, 2016
Jackson hits Smith for a 44-yard touchdown. Ugh
— BC Interruption (@bcinterruption) November 5, 2016
Def gonna go 5-7 and keep Addazio next year GET HYPED pic.twitter.com/9zgtRSI4tP
— BC Interruption (@bcinterruption) November 5, 2016
We’re praying for you. https://t.co/b5cPbPske4
— SB Nation (@SBNation) November 5, 2016
Well when I got here I was expecting it to be 28-0 so this is good? I guess? #ninetyninepointnine
— Arthur Bailin (@arthurbailin) November 5, 2016
Jackson finds Quick for a 10-yard score on the drag. That's the 2nd TD pass from Jackson to Quick today, & his 4th combined TD so far.
— BC Interruption (@bcinterruption) November 5, 2016
Oops. Never mind.
— Arthur Bailin (@arthurbailin) November 5, 2016
Can the media stop saying BC has a "great defense" because the stats look good? It isn't good.
— Mike Giblin (@HoyaEagle) November 5, 2016
Today is likely to set a record for earliest I've ever left a sporting event
— Joe Gravellese (@joegrav) November 5, 2016
Jackson hits a WIDE OPEN Cole Hikutini for a 5-yard touchdown.
— BC Interruption (@bcinterruption) November 5, 2016
After the PAT it's 35-0 Louisville. The Cardinals are already 10 points above covering the spread, and we've still got 6:17 left in the half

Update: I just got food so I might make it to halftime, which would merely tie the record
— Joe Gravellese (@joegrav) November 5, 2016
I remember when these games were fun. Those were the days. https://t.co/uC7rMuP7NZ

Towles throws deep for Smith, but safety Chuckie Williams comes over the top and picks it off. This is beyond out of hand.
— BC Interruption (@bcinterruption) November 5, 2016
As is his custom, Patrick Towles hits a Louisville safety in stride.

Does Darius Wade just not ever play for BC?
— Mark Ennis (@MarkEnnis) November 5, 2016
"It's ugly on the scoreboard, but it's a beautiful campus!"
— Grant Salzano (@Salzano14) November 5, 2016
Gee thanks
BC has lost 139-10 to 3 ranked teams and still counting, but I'm glad Addazio did his "screw the haters" victory lap after last week's win
— A.J. Black (@BCHysteria) November 5, 2016
That was a less than ideal half of football for BC.https://t.co/K1IaFQclGF
— BC Interruption (@bcinterruption) November 5, 2016
I'm out.
— Arthur Bailin (@arthurbailin) November 5, 2016
Left at the half, I've seen enough.
— A.J. Black (@BCHysteria) November 5, 2016
I'm ready for a new coach, I don't care about the results of last weekend
— A.J. Black (@BCHysteria) November 5, 2016
I guess while we all expected this, there’s just something off putting about getting embarrassed on national television like this.
— Arthur Bailin (@arthurbailin) November 5, 2016
I just turned on the Villanova/Maine game. There’s only 9 seconds left. Villanova will just knee it at this point. Still more fun than BC.
— Arthur Bailin (@arthurbailin) November 5, 2016
Alright that punt by Villanova was a welcome distraction.

Did a little math. The BC defense in 2015 allowed five TDs of 20+ yards.
— Michael Sullivan (@MichaelJSully) November 5, 2016
The BC defense of 2016 has allowed *15* TDs of 20+ yards.
FINAL(ly): Louisville 52, Boston College 7. Lamar Jackson combines for 431 yards and seven touchdowns as the Cardinals crush the Eagles.
— Michael Sullivan (@MichaelJSully) November 5, 2016
very frustrating @BCFootball, @BCCoachAddazio, @BCBradBates.
— Pete Frates (@PeteFrates3) November 5, 2016
no reason why we arent the east coast @StanfordFball.
I'll save myself a post Cheers: N/A, Jeers: Everything else @bcinterruption
