As the dust settles on the Boston College Eagles’ first bowl eligibility since going to the Pinstripe Bowl in 2014, more bowl projections are coming in placing BC against different opponents and in different locations.

SB Nation joined in on the fun, releasing its bowl projections early Sunday morning. SB Nation has the Eagles traveling to Detroit for the Quicklane Bowl at Ford Field on Dec. 26. The Eagles are projected to play Army, who would replace a Big Ten slot.

Army clinched bowl eligibility against FCS opponent Morgan State on Nov. 19. The Black Knights still have their yearly matchup with the Navy Midshipmen in Baltimore on Dec. 10 in Baltimore.

Army is going to play in its second bowl game since 1996. The Black Knights last played in a bowl against SMU on Dec. 30, 2010 in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl. Army won that game 16-14.
